All personel have been extremely efficient, polite and helpful - making our stay one to remember and hopefully soon to return. From the moment we arrived to the morning we left I can only say that your staff were of the highest level in every department. They were polite, efficient and most importantly seemed very happy in what they were doing. Nothing was a problem to them and they are certainly a credit to your business. The food was also excellent at all times. Well prepared and presented and always quick and hot. That sounds very simple but is rarely acheived when catering for over 70 people. I was a guest at Damson Dene last weekend. It was my wife's 60th birthdat and as we had visited Damson Dene twice before we thought it a good idea to bring our family and celebrate the occassion in style. Not only did your hotel live up to our expectations it exceeded them. My wife and I were very happy with the hotel and the service we received and the food was superb. Your staff were excellent and we tested them every day I think, as one of my daughters has three children under twelve and the other daughter brought her two week old baby. Your staff treated them all with kindness and understanding especially as one group got held up on the M6 and arrived very late but your catering staff still manager to provide my daughter and her husband with a hot meal at 21.30 on the Friday night. On the Saturday it was my wifes wish to climb Scafell Pike with three of her grandchildren so our group of seven left after a hearty breakfast and to cut a long story short arrived back at Damson Dene at 01.30 Sunday morning only to find the Manager waitingh for us at Reception as we had no keys to let ourselves in. We were offered cold platters which had been saved for us but we were so tired we just wanted to sleep. We all felt that your staff were there for us and wanted us to enjoy our stay, nothing was too much trouble, every action was completed in a pleasant way and we all felt pampered. The rooms were all more than adequate for our needs, tastefully furnished and clean and serviced every day very efficiently. The food lived up to expectations with both the quality and variety superb. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. 29th June 2007
