We are three friendly family owned hotels in the Lake District, each with their own leisure clubs and indoor, heated swimming pool.

South Lakes Hotels offers you a superb choice of Lake District settings - from Newby Bridge Hotel on the shores of Lake Windermere; to Damson Dene Hotel near Bowness On Windermere in the tranquillity of the Lyth valley, to Riverside Hotel and modern luxury in a riverside setting in the historic market town of Kendal.

There is very easy road and rail access to each of our three hotels in the Lake District for visitors, and also easy access to the whole South Lakes area for those who would like to explore a little, with the rest of Cumbria and Lakeland just on the doorstep.

Each of our Lake District Hotels has a choice of restaurants where the emphasis is on locally produced food. We have our own farm, the renowned High Lowscales Farm in Millom, which supplies rare-breed pork, lamb and beef to the Hotels. Fresh garden produce comes from our Kitchen Garden at Yewbarrow House, Grange Over Sands.
