Our Lake District hotels
Each of our three Lake District hotels, Damson Dene
Hotel near Lake Windermere, Riverside Hotel in the centre of Kendal,
and Newby Bridge Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere, offers very
easy road and rail access for visitors, and offers also easy access
to the whole south lakes area for those who would like to explore
a little. Then with the rest of Cumbria and Lakeland only on the
doorstep, some might enjoy taking advantage of one of our bargain
break packages for a short break.
There are several nearby golf
courses and some of the finest walking in the country on and around
the Lakeland fells. If you are looking for a golfing or walking
holiday our staff will be pleased to organise an itinerary for
you.
The Newby Bridge Hotel has its own mooring on Lake Windermere,
offering ideal facilities for sailing, and also has fishing
rights for the lake. Lake Windermere also offers some of the best
water-sport facilities in the country.
